How to Enrol
STEP 1: 📄 Register with Wellington Shire Council
Register your child for Three- or Four-Year-Old Kindergarten between 1 May and 30 June through the Wellington Shire Council website.

👉 Complete the Kindergarten Registration Form
Just follow the prompts on the Council’s site to submit your registration — it’s quick and easy!
STEP 2: ⏰ Wait for your offer
After registrations close, the Council carefully reviews all applications and allocates kindergarten places. Some children may be given priority based on need.
Just sit tight — offers will be sent out in August.
STEP 3: ✅ Accept Your Offer
Be sure to reply before the deadline to secure your child’s place.
In August, Wellington Shire Council will contact you with a kindergarten placement offer based on your preferences.
➡️ Respond by the due date — accept, decline, or make alternative arrangements
➡️ Didn’t get your first preference? Accept the offer and ask to be added to the waiting list for your preferred kindergarten

STEP 4: 📝 Complete Your Enrolment
Completion of enrolment is managed directly through Sale Combined Kindergartens Inc.
➡️ If you’ve accepted an offer for one of the Sale Combined Kindergarten services, you’ll receive a confirmation email in September.
➡️ This email will include a pre-enrolment form for you to complete and return.
➡️ You’ll also need to provide:
- A copy of your child’s birth certificate
- An Immunisation History Statement
- A concession card (if applicable)
